Sashka Rothchild is a Founder, Producer, Host and Speaker living in New York City.

Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Sashka has been passionate about creating meaningful connections with the people around her from a young age. After losing her mother to brain cancer during her senior year of high school, Sashka learned more than she ever wanted to about the tremendous need for support while navigating the grief and logistical challenges of an impossible situation.

Her experience with her mother's illness ultimately led her to found Standbuy, a crowdfunding tool for people undergoing cancer treatment. Standbuy's success in providing a focused, compassionate, and easy-to- use platform to those in need of support inspired Sashka to expand those same ideas to serve additional populations. Utilizing some of the most innovative technologies available today, she launched Stndby to create authentic, empathy-driven support systems to people who may otherwise feel isolated in the most difficult aspects of the human experience.

Currently focused on the intersection of art, creativity, grief and loss, she is the Executive Producer and Co-host of Ghost Stories, a podcast on grief, creativity and the secret language of surviving the inevitable.

Ghost Stories sister entity, Let’s Flowt looks at the ways we learn to survive and transmute the moments in life that could have easily drowned us. Life isn’t one or the other, it is beautiful and heartbreaking, dark and hilarious, it is both/and, always. We make it out the other side through connection, shared story and a huge amount of practice getting flexible and resilient. When the seas get rough, we find our float.

She currently lives in New York City with her son and husband.
